Case

What is it?

  • An Allele Case is generally synonymous to a worksheet, learning module or patient visit within a Space (educational course). Cases can further be broken down into smaller, bite-sized learning chunks called Phases that contain specific pieces of educational material and/or specific student assessments. Navigating through a Case would generally span a day to a few days.

Did You Know?

  • If we use a book as an illustrative example:
    • a Space would be the book itself
    • a Case would be a chapter in the book
    • a Phase would be a page within a chapter

Why is it important?

  • Cases in Allele are important because help instructors compartmentalize a set of material and associated assessments to convey a topic to their learners.
